The carbon-fiber composite shell is an important part of solid-propellant rocket engine.The structural integrity of the shell is one of the key research objects in the field of health monitoring and testing for solid-propellant rocket engine.The methods and research progress of nondestructive testing and health monitoring of carbon-fiber composite and shell in recent years are reviewed,and the crucial technologies of health monitoring and testing are sumarized.The development direction of health monitoring for solid-propellant rocket engine shell is pointed out.
